I recently took a trip back to Olympia to spend the weekend with my friend and she took me up to Mount Rainier. I am ashamed to say that, although I've lived in Washington most all my life, at 28 years old this is the first time I have ever been to Mount Rainier.
And it was spectacular.
It was such a perfect day day - beautiful blue skies, bright sun shinning down on mist and clouds in all the right places, a thick layer of snow on the ground...
