The Half-Snowy Field
After driving through a couple of scary white-outs on the main highway headed north up to Deception Pass for sunrise this weekend, I really enjoyed driving through the lighter snow on the smaller highway headed back down south to home. It was very pretty, especially when experienced at slower speeds and in early morning daylight.

It turned out to be a fun drive home - the snow was super spotty as if only a few random clouds in the pack were producing snow. As I was driving along, I came across this field where the edge of the snow landed just perfectly at the fence line. Of course I went from 55mph to u-turn in 3 seconds flat and hopped out of the car on the side of the road to grab this picture while the sun was still in a good place.
