On my last day in New Orleans I decided to get up early and walk around the French Quarter early in the morning. It was interesting, surprisingly peaceful and almost quaint-feeling. The streets are rather empty, save the occasional resident or local employee, and there is a little street-sweeper type of truck that drives up and down washing each road (with soap!).
Man in the Door
I love to people watch. I was stopped just leaning against a wall checking people out when I noticed this gentleman a ways down the block. As I watched him just sitting in the doorway, I started feeling so relaxed. What a way to start a Tuesday morning.
